(this one is scrapped. Andrea doesn’t need a backstory, she’s just a nut and will always be one.)
“I’m…I’m a tractor?” Andrea’s eyes turned away for a moment, in deep thought. The three of them had been picnicking in the afternoon. Markus Creneth and his two wives, Jeanne and Andrea. Andrea played with her fuzzy red hair for a moment. Markus recognized that look as Andrea’s “How can I make that thing that Markus just mentioned into an insane skinsuit.” look.
“No, I don’t think I can make tractors sexy, Jeanne.”
The blonde woman sitting in between the mustard bottle and the salad smirked for a second. Her blonde hair stretched down to just below her chin, with her face defined by her (fake) glasses. Unlike Andreas raunchy, lots of skin showing outfit she dressed much more conservatively, as if she just walked out of her office job.
In the middle of them sat Markus, still listening to Jeanne about the concept she called “Yandere”.
“No, not John Deere. Yandere. It’s a concept from Anime. Yanderu means sick while deredere means as much as affectionate or loving.”
“Sick loving. Reminds me of the i sucked you off while you had the sniffles!” Andrea smiled as Markus sighed.
“No, its someone who loves someone so much that they go insane over them, often violently so.”
“Ha!” Andrea said with a smug tone. “Im not violent so that cant be me. Unless were talking…sexual violence. I would love for you two to rough me up on a picknick blanket.”
Markus was in deep thought for a second “Would you kill for me?” He asked.
There was no hestitation. No delay.
“Yes.”
“Of course you would, Andrea, youre insane.” Jeanne pointed out. “You would do anything for Markus because youre obsessed with him.”
“I dont get why i’m getting this lecture all of a sudden, did I do something wrong, dear?” She looked at him akin to a child looking to get a parents approval. Which in some ways…was the kind of relationship they had.
“We’re just talking about your state of mind. Jeanne is on point. The fact that you’d kill without hestiation isnt normal.”
“Hey, killing isnt fun , Markus. Sex is, and this conversation is lacking a lot of that.”
Markus and Jeanne seemed frozen, staring at the seemingly tacit admission that rolled out of Andreas mouth.
“You sound like you’re speaking by experience. Did you kill someone, Andrea?”
Andrea read the mix of concern and disgust on his face and quickly answered “No.”
“Did you KILL someone, Andrea?” His tone was firm and his eyes seemed to pierce through her.
Andrea averted her gaze. “Almost.”
Markus exhaled and reached into the cooler and uncorked a bottle of wine, chugging at least a quarter of it. Jeanne sat there, not knowing what to say to all of this
“You weren’t there.”
Markus wiped some wine from the corner of his mouth. “No, but that doesn’t make it right that you almost killed someone.” He jutted his pointing finger forward. “What happened?”
“It’s all in the past. It’s not relevant now, any more, Markus.”
“You say it’s not relevant, but you would kill for me still?”
“I would…do anything for you Markus. “ A shade of desperation came over her eyes as she suddenly felt very worried and concerned. “Anything to earn your approval.”
“There it is again, same as always…” Markus thought to himself. “That clear and open insanity. The obsession she has with pleasing me. The demand for attention. The eternal need to walk around in the biggest proportions, and not be her real self. I never bothered digging into it…but maybe now is the time.”
“Tell me about your past dear. Before we met. All of it.”
Andreas pose changed, getting quite defensive with her arms crossed.
“No. It doesnt matter Markus.”
“And i would do anyyything for love, but i wont do that!” Jeanne quoted the song to which Andrea spat back a quick “Shut it Jeremy.”
“My name is Jeanne. “
“Andrea!” Markus raised his voice. “Tell me about your past. Now. I never wanted to look into it but I realize that that’s the best for you and me. Maybe it helps us understand why you are the way you are.”
“I’m trying to get better. Am i not working hard enough, Markus?”
“Andrea. Tell me, please.”
Andrea sighed as she motioned at the bottle in Markus’ hand. He shared it and she copied his way of taking a swig.
“I don’t remember much of dad. He wasn’t around much, and not for too long either. Fuzzy hair, big smile on his face, and then he just stopped showing up. I was, what, six years old, maybe? Mom…on the other hand….”
Andrea’s eyes seemed to glaze over for a moment as she began to tell her story.
——————————————————-
Port Callor is a city in the inner regions of California. Located near lake Callor, it used to be a thriving city in the mid 70’s with a tourism industry and a small fishing industry set up. Yet, all of that went to hell when Merberra Inc. set up a plastic factory on the far north side of the lake. As more and more toxic sludge got unleashed into Lake Callor the water quality declined and the city alongside it declined as well. By the time the early 2000’s rolled around, Port Callor was a run down town, with toxic water, a mass increase in crime and the general unpleasantness abound.
Walking through the street was a young redheaded girl, aged 10. It was getting late, close to sunset now. The sidewalks were poorly kept, and something that would’ve been lovely 20 years ago was now unkept and messy. The girl was wearing a young girl scouts outfit, short yellow shorts and a cute cap with a pink flower embroided on it. She looked rather pale and small for her age, actually. Almost underfed.
Andrea was checking out the different houses seeing which one would be best. As she approached one of the houses she put a big smile on her face and rang the doorbel.
A man in his mid 50’s, grey, balding and with a scowl on his face opened the door.
“Whaddoya want!” he barked out.
Andrea’s smile never wavered. “Hi Sir, I’m selling cookies on behalf of the American Cancer Group. This box only costs you 5 dollars and all profits go to charity! We-”
The man slammed the door shut in front of her face without so much of a word. The girls face fell and she scowled. “Mom is going to kill me.”

Andreas eyes kept looking away as she inserted her keys into the locked front door to the decently cleaned house.(unlike the rest of the neighbourhood) Its lawn was prim and proper with not a piece out of shape. The doorbell was flanked by a cast iron cross on the right side.
“I’m home!” She yelled as she locked the door behind her.
“Get over here!” A much older woman’s voice shrieked from the back of the room. Ethel Katherine Lencroft yelled again at Andrea. Redhair, the same exact shade as her daughter, yet where Andrea had a fuzzy bounce to it, Ethel just had it straight as could be
Ethel’s face looked over the rest of the stock, before side-eyeing her daughter. “How much did you sell?”
“Six boxes…” Andrea replied quietly, reaching into her pouch to pull out the money. Before it’d even left the pouch, her mother had snatched it away and counting the money as though she was inspecting it with a fine toothed comb. Then she looked at the boxes.
“This is $25,” she said. Cold. Uncaring. “That is not the cost of six, and you have four boxes left. Where is the last one?”
“I-I…I ate…”
Before Andrea could finish she felt the hot strike of Ethel’s backhand across her face. Andrea didn’t show any emotion. She knew by now that any emotional reaction would make it worse. She didn’t even resist when Ethel grabbed her wrist and dragged the girl towards her like a ragdoll.
“You ungrateful little brat, you have no idea how it feels to suffer trying to make a living for both of us! I give you the food off my back and you think you can scrounge more without telling me?! DO YOU KNOW HOW WHAT THAT BOX COULD’VE BEEN WORTH?! YOU COULD’VE HAVE GOT THAT FUCKING DOLL YOU NAG ME ABOUT ALL THE GODDAMN TIME! You…are NOTHING without me, you hear?! No one else’d want a selfish, greedy, parasite of a child like you!”
“Go back outside, and sell more you useless cunt.”
“yes mom.” The tears streamed from her face as she picked up the package of cookies

After a while she stopped running as she made her way out of town. A few days over 18, owning nothing but the clothes she had and what she quickly stuffed in her backpack . A t-shirt, a jacket, some daisy dukes and only a few bits of underwear. As she checked her wallet she realized she’d forgotten to take any money outside of the five dollars in her pockets.
“Damn…but i can’t go back there, the bitch could already be awake.” She was now passing through the hordes of pine trees with a few cars ocassionally passing by. No real plan…no ideas, but nothing was better than staying there.
By now she had travelled further then she’d ever done before, and the sun was going to set soon. In her mind…she was pretty fucked. She thought of anyone she could ask for help, but no one came to mind. Upahead was the neon sign reading “CHEAP GAS.”
it was a pretty run down gas station with a few trucks currently standing by to get the one pump. Andrea entered the store, buying a bottle of water and a packed sandwich with her last money.
With a sigh she leaned against the outside of the shop, eating and relaxing. For now her plan was to just travel down the road and then…figure it out from there. As she had finished up she was thinking of how to proceed when he walked up to her. The first of three men that would change her life forever.
A bit overweight, greying and balding man approached. He must’ve been in his 50’s. He was wearing a plaid shirt and jeans looking almost like a lumberjack. With firm confident strides he approached her. He had a slight southern drawl and he,had a bit of a cocky smile.
“How much?”
“Eh…what?”
“How much for sex, lady?”
“…” Andrea had a case of deer in headlights type of look. *Mom would be so mad if I got into prostitution. Hell yeah I should do it!*
She mentioned a random number in her mind, hoping he’d bite.
“Fifty bucks.”
He looked her over for a moment. “All right, let’s do it in that toilet over there.”

The convenience store chimed as Andrea stepped onto the mopped tile. Her immediate instinct drove her to the refrigerated sandwiches, but her eyes focused on the lone worker at the register. A guy about a year older than she was stood there, clearly bored out of his mind and filling up the register with packets of coins. Her stomach growled in protest as she sauntered over to him.
“Hello, Sir?” She squeaked, and his eyes darted to the fiery redhead before him. “There’s something that went wrong in the womens’ bathroom, do you think you could help me fix it?” She made sure to shake her chest, and his eyes did flicker down there.
“Uh…yeah, sure.”
She lured him out there and touched him a bit. It wasn’t very exciting to her, but the roofie she had lied about being viagra took hold of him. He was out, and Andrea had full reign of the store. Of course, cameras were everywhere. Long story short, She walked out with about six sandwiches in her pockets wearing a brand new uniform.
